Can I use the service if I live outside the UK?
The intended service includes expats and overseas residents who need a UK correspondence address or onward mail forwarding. Onboarding, recipient checks and a supported destination are still required. Your account type is based on your needs; living abroad does not automatically make you a business customer.
Is this proof of UK residence or a registered office?
The mailbox is a correspondence service. It is not proof of residence, a guaranteed bank-accepted address or a registered-office service. Check the relevant organisation’s rules before using a correspondence address for a particular purpose.
Will you open every letter?
No. Opening and scanning require your current authority and an eligible instruction. You can choose physical holding and forwarding without digital scanning. A scan request is an instruction; it is not a claim that a letter has already been opened or emailed.
Can you hold my mail while I am on holiday?
The proposed holiday plan is £5.99 per month, includes up to 50 arrival logs per month and 90 days of physical holding. Digital scanning is optional and charged separately. Packaging and onward postage are additional.
Can I forward letters to the UK or overseas?
You can request a physical batch to a UK or international address. A suitable service depends on the destination and contents. Review the handling, packaging, postage and any disclosed exclusions before approving dispatch.
